People in California are facing the housing crisis, which drove to the situation that they have to live in their cars. It's not a job issue, because majority of them just work, but a price of rental or purchasing home. A lot of them have well-paid jobs, but it's not enough even to rent a place to live. As they got works, they can't qualify for programs that consider them homeless. Sadly, specialists don't see this problem going any better in the near future.


I can see a shift in the public's opinion.
She lost her job to the recession.
California has been hit hard by the housing crisis.

    If people's jobs don't bring enough money for them to be able to afford a place to live, then the whole society is in trouble.

Reflection #2

Few days ago I saw a post on facebook group. It was a photo from an elementary school textbook, where a girl says that her brother has cleverness and intellect, but she as a woman doesn't understand what intellect is. In my opinion it shouldn't be publicated in a book intended for the second grade of primary school. People from a high school usually understand this type of texts is just a rubbish and they don't agree with it. In contrast to high schoolers, kids from junior school don't have their opinion about discriminating women and it's normal, but children after reading this text create deeply embedded stereotypes in their brains, with which we are fighting for years.

Reflection #1

 Three days ago I saw a car accident on Pulkowa street. Van wiped out with Mercedes SUV. It would be nothing special, but this accident created a large traffic jam on the opposite side of road. Turned out that, everybody need to watched what happened next to them. They waited few seconds and then they drove away. It's irritating me, because it's a common casus which has make for create new traffic jams.
